Prevent Skype From Highlighting Telephone Numbers

If you have the latest version of Skype installed on y our computer, Skype installed a script that will change all html code of telephone numbers and how the numbers are displayed. This effects every web page on every website where there is a telephone number.

Skype actually slows down your website page load times by calling graphics and country code details from their own server and adding it to your source code output before your website browser client renderis the page.

You have no control over this except to uninstall Skype. Unfortunately though, anyone else that browses to your website that has Skype installed will see Skype's own code in place of the html code you entered on your web pages.
